One of our most recent valued clients, Mathew, has decided to build his dream kit home with iBuild. Mathew’s choice of preference for his kit home was one of our most highly demanded models, Oxford. This Granny Flat’s total area sums up to 52m2, and it is inclusive of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen , living room and a verandah. This is often a popular choice amongst clients as it is the perfect size to be added onto their current dwellings.Â
At iBuild, it is our responsibility to help fulfil customers’ needs. Hence, despite Mathew being happy to stick with the original Oxford model plan, there were also some changes made that were requested by him. iBuild is ready to help you to suit your specific needs and preferences to make you feel satisfied. Mathew decided to have some changes, in terms of having the bedroom door relocated and also by having an in-built robe within the granny flat.Â

Hydeaway Bay, a very peaceful and quiet place located in Whitsundays, QLD and is one of the hidden gems in Australia. A perfect short escape destination to take a break from the city noise where you can enjoy amazing white sand beaches and spot sea fauna if you are lucky enough. Here you can also swim, fish, hire a boat and do other fun activities with your friends and families.
Building homes in Hydeaway Bay sounds like a perfect idea! Our client Michel has successfully completed his Banksia kit home construction in this area! Having three bedrooms and a huge common area, this kit home model is perfect for group holidays. It is very nice and relaxing to build a home near the beach since you can hear the waves crushing from inside of your house. Also, families should not be worried about where they need to bring the kids to play because most of the beaches in Hydeaway Bay are shallow and safe. Spotting dolphins, dugongs and turtles are also interesting for any age group since there is no chance to see animals in their natural habitat in crowded tourist destinations. With a total of 188 square-meters, this Banksia model is very spacious that you can even relax in the living area. It also offers a three sides view with veranda shading for you to enjoy the view from your home. You are also allowed to make some changes from the preset design to what you want, and that is to make you feel comfortable living in your dream house.

PICNIC BAY MAGNETIC ISLAND
Picnic Bay refers to both a bay on the south-east corner of Magnetic Island and the island's main town. It is connected to the island's eastern towns by Nelly Bay Road, which climbs Hawkings Point from the northeastern corner of the bay, east over the point where it follows the coastline down into Nelly Bay. Picnic Bay is a great location for Kit Home, as it is perfect for the holiday.
JOHN & LESA’S KIT HOME AVILA
John and Lesa’s choice of design consists of 2 bedrooms standard designed Kit Home Avila, which was intended to be put together through DIY. As an Owner Builder, John and Lesa were able to manage their project with any necessary improvements for their Kit Home. This prompted John and Lesa to customise their Kit Home to accommodate their lifestyle.
As part of the design process, John and Lesa are happy with the standard designed Kit Home Avila which perfectly suits their lifestyle. iBuild hence tailored the original Kit Home Roma to better fit their lifestyle and location. The main features of John and Lesa’s Avila are designed with one stortery, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. They decided to use steel as a wall frame with gable roof made by standard colorbond sheetings. Â

One of our clients, Jonathon, has built the Custom Oxford kit home in Logan with iBuild. Stanthorpe is a rural town and locality in the Southern Downs Region, Queensland. At the heart of the Granite Belt, this town is located two hours away from Sydney, one and half hours from Toowoomba, and three hours from Gold Coast. Stanthorpe is quite a rural location compared to other Kit Home locations
From our selection of Kit Homes, Rod’s choice of design was the Oxford, which is perfect for independent living or even as your very own holiday home. Rod’s custom Kit Home Oxford features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a verandah, which covers a total area of 52m2.

Monash is a peaceful suburb located in Canberra, where it is perfect for living especially families. Here it has many gardens and park recreations which can be used to just spend leisure time with families. Other than that, there are also schools, shopping centres, and plenty of green open spaces.Â
Rod, our client, has successfully built the Oxford kit home model in Monash with iBuild. This minimalist design is really useful as it can be an additional ittle dwelling space for holiday parks or to just be a complement for your property. The 1 bedroom model has a total area of 52 square-meters, which does not take up too much space but still gives the cozy feeling when staying inside. Even though the space is not too big, it basically provides everything you need inside such as kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and living room with a spacious design to make you feel comfortable. Rod choses the DIY method for this construction as iBuild’s houses are easy to erect, yet still strong and durable in facing many different extreme weathers like winds and bushfires. Indeed, it is important to have reliable houses because Australia is very vulnerable to get bushfires due to its lack of humidity.Â

In this Hillview kit home model construction, Eric also joined the process along the way and felt very happy about the delivery process and the assembly process because the workers were very professional. The delivery process was awesome because there was no breakage in the items and it was delivered on time, while regarding the assembly process, all items are marked clearly and are relatively easy to put together all the parts.Â
The Hillview model is a 3 bedroom kit home model with a total area of 153 square-meters, includes 2 bathrooms inside, covered with verandah on three of the sides, and is one of iBuild’s most popular designs. The 5th Modular Construction and Pre-Fabrication ANZ 2020 Conference
PROSPECT OF MODULAR CONSTRUCTION IN ANZ
The 5th Modular Construction and Pre-Fabrication ANZ 2020 conference was a 3-day event that took place from 2nd - 4th March in The Langham Melbourne. The conference highlights the Industry's finest practices with new innovative techniques and technology. This strengthens and enhances the adoption of modular construction methodology within the ANZ construction industry today.
With the presence of prominent individuals within the modular & pre-fabrication industry, iBuild’s founder and CEO Jackson Yin was part of the panel discussion amongst other important delegates within the industry. Similar to last year attendance at 4th Modular Construction Conference in ANZ,  iBuild aims to partake regularly in the discussions around innovation within the construction and prefabrication industry.
The pre-conference focused on international & well known Australian OSM & DfMA exemplars, the industry’s best practices and new innovative techniques & technologies that will reinforce and enrich the perception of modular construction methodology in the ANZ construction industry.
The conference features Award-Winning Modular Projects and other case studies. Emphasis on how prefabrication is the next step towards the Victoria education infrastructure including the rollout of world-class prefab modular classrooms. Modular construction now accounts for $4.5 billion of Australia’s $150 billion construction industry.
Our CEO at iBuild, Jackson Yin was part of a panel that shared insights about Prefabricated Train Station Buildings – Contracting, Financing and Management Challenges through our well-developed project system with referenced one of our successful project - modular age care project in Ballarat.
At iBuild, we are appreciative of the opportunity to contribute to an important national conference on Modular construction and pre-fabrication. Through participating in the panel discussion with prominent firms such as BatesSmart, ARKit Advanced Prefabricated Architecture, Master Builder Victoria and Angelucci Architects; we have expressed on how iBuild can provide consequential insights to the challenges for modular construction.
Thanks to the success of the event, iBuild has constructed and sustained a valuable presence in the modular construction Industry and allow us to innovate further in both the commercial and residential sectors.
